Seeking Work - Have Greyhound to Maintain!
GAGR volunteer Di Walker is seeking work in PR, events or volunteer management. For nine years I was the in-house "creative powerhouse" and go-to gal for everything related to external and internal communications for Flower City Habitat for Humanity.
I directed PR and publicity, media relations, publications, website content and volunteer management. I planned and executed events, developed copy for newsletters, media releases, website, direct mail solicitations, ads, brochures and flyers, event remarks and scripts. I supported and guided house sponsors through their projects, participated in development activities, and coordinated homeowner events. I recruited, screened, scheduled and recognized volunteers. I have a talent for working with people from diverse backgrounds and regularly interfaced with volunteers, board and committee members, homeowners, donors, sponsors and the general public.
Open to any new adventure, including a business opportunity.
